Students and human rights defenders have today used theatre to highlight gaps in access to health and sexual and reproductive rights as Kenya marks 16 years since the promulgation of the 2010 Constitution. At the University of Nairobi, students performed a play inspired by a landmark court case involving a teenage girl who was denied emergency medical care. They say the Constitution guarantees these rights, but implementation remains a challenge.
