Basic Education PS John Ololtuaa has clarified that the National Education Management Information System (NEMIS) does not exclude learners without birth certificates from admission. Appearing before the National Assembly Public Accounts Committee, Ololtuaa said schools can use alternative verification methods or temporary administrative identifiers as parents process official documents. He stressed that lack of documentation must never deny any child admission, education or access to government support and services.
