The DPP has filed 17 new charges against 15 DCI and NIS officers over the alleged 2022 kidnapping of two Indian nationals and their Kenyan driver. The suspects are accused of offences including kidnapping with intent to murder, conspiracy to commit a felony and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment. They are expected to appear before the Kahawa Law Courts on September 7th for plea-taking.
