First Lady Rachel Ruto has reiterated calls for urgent action against the triple threat of HIV, adolescent pregnancy and sexual and gender-based violence. Speaking during a mentorship and advocacy engagement in Homa Bay County, Rachel said the threats continue to endanger children’s safety and future, with many abuse cases going unreported, unspoken and unpunished. She urged parents and society to create safe spaces where young people can seek help, speak freely and make informed choices.
