Kenya will host the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Annual Meeting in Nairobi in September 2028, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has announced. This marks the third time in ISO's 78-year history that the annual meeting is being hosted on the African continent. Among issues to be discussed will be aligning international standards with regional agreements to support free trade and reduce trade imbalances.
