Kenya is calling for stronger action to build a self-reliant African health sector, less dependent on external support. Health CS Aden Duale says the continent must translate health commitments into concrete investments and measurable results. Speaking at the WHO Regional Committee for Africa, Duale identified sustainable health financing, local manufacturing and digital transformation as key priorities, urging African countries to mobilise more domestic resources and increase fiscal commitment to health.
