Education stakeholders have been challenged to move beyond policy declarations and focus on measurable, sustainable outcomes. Speaking at the ongoing second EAC Regional Education Conference in Nairobi, Education Secretary Nelson Sifuna said basic education forms the foundation for all subsequent learning and socio-economic transformation. Sifuna called for stronger implementation of education policies, saying commitments must translate into tangible improvements in classrooms and better learning outcomes for children.
