Education stakeholders in the East African Community are calling on governments to turn education policies into measurable improvements in classrooms. Speakers at the second EAC Regional Education Conference in Nairobi say this will require stronger support for teachers, better welfare, political goodwill and sustained investment in education. The conference brings together stakeholders from across the region from August 25th to 28th.
