East Africa has been urged to turn its youthful population into a productive workforce through quality education and skills development. EAC Cabinet Secretary Beatrice Askul says the region’s greatest resource is its people, rather than its natural resources. Speaking in Nairobi, CS Askul said education must help convert demographic strength into human capital, productivity and prosperity, while urging countries to take successful innovations to scale.
