East African countries have been challenged to move from education commitments to measurable results that improve the lives of learners. Speaking at the second EAC Regional Education Conference in Nairobi, EAC CS Beatrice Askul said policies and reforms must translate into better learning outcomes. She questioned whether children are gaining the knowledge and skills needed by today’s economy, particularly as artificial intelligence continues transforming the world of work.
