As the country nears electioneering period, Deputy Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli has announced that police will flag individuals deemed unfit to seek public office and forward their names to IEBC. Speaking during the launch of the NCIC Uchaguzi Bila Noma campaign, Masengeli insisted that the National Police will decisively deal with goonism and sponsors of political intolerance.
