The Kenya National Union of Nurses has accused the Council of Governors of double speak, saying county governments have shown no goodwill despite agreeing to engage in talks. During demonstrations in Nairobi, nurses accused counties of failing to honour the return-to-work formula and implement career progression guidelines. The health workers vowed not to resume duty until governors address their grievances and fulfil the agreed demands.
