As Kenya approaches the 2027 General Election, the National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC) has emphasized that protecting youth demands comprehensive online safety, health support, and a meaningful voice in shaping national solutions. In a statement, the Commission noted that while young people are driving innovation and civic participation online, digital exploitation, misinformation and the ongoing Triple Threat of HIV, teenage pregnancies and gender-based violence threaten their well-being.
