The Nairobi Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (NaMATA) has advertised 13 senior management vacancies as it seeks to strengthen its leadership and technical capacity in the planning and coordination of mass rapid transit in the Nairobi Metropolitan Area.
The vacancies comprise four deputy director positions and five assistant director positions.
The deputy director positions are in infrastructure development, network management, corporate policy, research and strategy, and legal services, with one position available in each category.
NaMATA is also seeking to recruit three assistant directors for infrastructure development and three for network management.
There is one vacancy each for assistant director, Legal Services; Assistant Director, Human Resource and Administration; and Assistant Director, Supply Chain Management.
The Authority said the successful candidates will serve under terms outlined in the respective job profiles, with salaries and benefits determined by the Board in line with guidance from the State Corporations Advisory Committee (SCAC) and in consultation with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
Applicants are required to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution and will be required to provide valid clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Higher Education Loans Board, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, and an approved Credit Reference Bureau upon appointment.
