The Hustler Fund has disbursed more than Sh90 billion with over 27 million Kenyans accessing loans from the fund. Cooperatives CS Wycliffe Oparanya says at least two million people borrow from the fund every day. To make it possible for every Kenyan to have a chance in seeking financial credit, the government changed policy from blacklisting debtors to repairing their creditworthiness.
