The government has warned perpetrators, inciters and political figures fuelling recurring clashes along the Kisii-Narok and Transmara border that they will face legal action. Speaking at Nyabitunwa area located along the Kisii and Narok Counties border, Narok County Commissioner Kipkech Lotiatia and his Kisii counterpart James Kamau pledged to strengthen grassroots security and ordered officers to arrest criminals and dismantle gangs. The warning follows clashes that left two people dead, several injured, farms torched and businesses disrupted along the Kisii - Transmara border.
