The government is exploring ways to expand rehabilitation services at the National Spinal Injury Referral Hospital in Nairobi to also serve patients recovering from stroke, major surgery and other disabling conditions. Medical Services PS Dr Ouma Oluga says the expansion will require investment in specialised skills, modern technology and infrastructure. PS Oluga spoke during a tour of the hospital, where he reviewed ongoing projects, equipment and patient care services.
