At least 1.5 million Kenyans could be adversely affected by flooding during the October - December rainfall season. Speaking at the National outlook Climate Forum, Director of National disaster operation center David Samoei said 500,000 Kenyans are likely to be displaced, with several counties facing the risk of destruction of farms and infrastructure. He said three counties of Kiambu, Murang’a and Elgeyo Marakwet are likely to be affected by landslides.
