Renowned digital brand manager, Director Trevor, has strongly denied reports claiming he wants to manage the viral Kibera-based comedy group Heha Movers.

His clarification came on Saturday, 22 August 2026, just hours after his high-profile business partnership with Kenya's tallest internet personality, Bradley Marongo, officially came to an end.

Trevor, who heads the House of Creators brand, took to his social media to address what he termed as "labelling" by local news platforms.

"I don't know why many news outlets are labelling it as me wanting to manage Heha Movers. I don't just associate myself with anyone who is trending."

A High-Profile Split

The controversy began when Bradley Marongo, popularly known as the "Gen Z Goliath", announced he was parting ways with Director Trevor. Marongo stands at an imposing height of 8 feet 2 inches (2.49 metres), weighs 120 kilograms, and wears size 48 shoes.

He rose from a bus conductor to a global digital sensation under Trevor's management over the last two years.

On Saturday, Marongo unveiled a new full-time manager, Frank, to handle his corporate brand deals and appearances. Before the split, Trevor had publicly offered to assist Heha Movers, a rising group of comedy creators, to secure commercial backing.

This offer sparked a heated online row with comedian DJ Shiti, who accused Trevor of attempting to sideline the group's current mentor, comedian Nicki Bigfish. Critics quickly claimed Trevor was looking to replace Marongo with the viral moving crew.

Actualising the Business

Trevor has now dismissed these management claims, stating that his primary goal is to help Heha Movers establish a genuine commercial enterprise rather than managing their daily content.

"What I was trying to do was help actualize the name Heha Movers into a real movers company by connecting them with investors, business owners and people who already understand that industry."

Heha Movers, which comprises a group of up to five creators, gained rapid popularity on social media with humorous "luxury relocation" videos. Trevor noted that establishing a robust corporate structure for such a group is highly demanding.

"The reason I can't manage Heha Movers is simple: building a proper structure around a group of up to five people and growing is not an easy task, and that's not where I want to put my focus."

Looking to the Future

The digital manager urged his critics to reserve judgement for a month, promising that his long-term business vision for the group would soon become clear.

"Let's revisit this conversation in one month. By then, you'll understand exactly what I meant by turning Heha Movers into an actual business."

As the dust settles on his split from Marongo, Trevor remains focused on structuring creative projects into sustainable enterprises. Whether his upcoming plans for Heha Movers will succeed remains to be seen in the coming weeks.
