Bradley Marongo, the towering internet personality widely known as the "Gen Z Goliath," has officially ended his business relationship with prominent brand manager Director Trevor. The decision, announced on Saturday, 22 August 2026, concludes their partnership and marks the beginning of a new professional chapter.
In an official statement shared on his social media platforms, Marongo expressed his gratitude to Director Trevor for his support and guidance over their time working together.
"I would like to sincerely thank Director Trevor for being an important part of my journey over the years," Marongo stated.
"I'm grateful for his support, guidance, creativity, and for helping me build, shape, and polish my brand to where it is today."
"After careful consideration, I have decided to take a new professional path and move forward with a new chapter in my career,” he added.
A New Representative Takes Charge
Following the separation, Marongo announced that his business affairs will now be overseen by a representative named Frank. Frank has assumed the role of full-time manager and will serve as the sole contact for all upcoming bookings, collaborations, and appearances.
"Frank is now my full-time manager and the official contact for all my business affairs, collaborations, bookings, brand partnerships, appearances, and opportunities," Marongo announced.
From Kangemi Conductor to Global Icon
Marongo’s rise to fame is one of Kenya’s most remarkable digital success stories. Prior to his online stardom, the 27-year-old earned a living as a matatu (bus) conductor and tout at a stage terminus in Kangemi, Nairobi. Standing at an extraordinary 8 feet tall and weighing 120 kilograms, his unique stature always drew local attention.
His life changed during the Gen Z protests in mid-2024, when videos of Marongo walking among the crowds went viral. His towering height caught the attention of both the public and police officers, earning him the nickname "Gen Z Goliath."
Recognising his potential, Director Trevor stepped in to manage his career, packaging his viral fame into a commercial brand. Under Trevor's management, Marongo secured endorsement deals, featured in music projects with Sauti Sol’s Bien, created content with international star IShowSpeed, and travelled to Dubai for business collaborations.
Director Trevor Responds with Pride
Director Trevor responded to the announcement on social media, expressing pride in the foundation they created together.

"I wish Bradley and his new team nothing but the very best,” Director Trevor added.
Despite the management transition, both parties remain positive about their respective futures. Marongo concluded his announcement on an optimistic note, stating, "The best is yet to come."
