President William Ruto on Saturday launched the construction and upgrading of the 20-kilometre Makaveti–Kyangala–Iuni Road in Machakos Town Constituency at a cost of Sh1 billion.

The projects cover a combined 200 kilometres and have a total cost of more than Sh10 billion, to improve connectivity, support trade and open up economic opportunities across the county.

‎President Ruto also inspected the progress of the Kimutwa Modern Market, part of the Government’s efforts to provide better trading facilities for local businesses and traders.
