Amid uncertainty over the future of the Linda Mwananchi political outfit, team leader Edwin Sifuna has sought to reassure supporters that all is under control, while hinting at the possibility of an alternative political party. His remarks come after DCP Deputy Party Leader Cleophas Malala urged Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale to hand over his party to Sifuna to facilitate his presidential bid in 2027. The uncertainty comes as the IEBC deadline for political parties to submit the names of their authorised officials approaches on October 15 this year .
