Mount Kenya’s political bargaining power could be weakened by the growing number of political parties seeking to establish a foothold in the region. Political analyst Albert Kasembeli warns that the increased number of parties could split the region’s vote and diminish its collective influence. The latest entrant is Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro’s People’s Party of Kenya.
