Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has hosted UDA elected grassroots leaders at his Irunduni residence in Tharaka Nithi County for a consultative meeting focused on party coordination and grassroots mobilisation.

The event brought together UDA polling-centre officials, leaders and supporters from Tharaka Nithi as the party continues to strengthen its grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Participants were dressed predominantly in UDA's yellow colours, with some displaying two fingers in gestures interpreted as support for a second term, while others held up four fingers as a reference to the government's fourth year in office.

Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki and other leaders attended the meeting, which also focused on local development priorities, political coordination and cohesion in the Mount Kenya East region.
