Preparations for this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations are progressing well, with Uasin Gishu, Nandi and Elgeyo-Marakwet counties working together to ensure a successful event. Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen said the three counties are coordinating closely as they co-host the celebrations. Speaking during an inspection of the ongoing Kamariny Stadium works, Murkomen said the government is also accelerating development projects across the North Rift, including roads, stadiums, hostels and many more.
