Sickle cell warriors in the country, led by Tracy Achieng, are calling for increased government support in the fight against the disorder. Achieng, who recently underwent a blood exchange procedure supported by SHA, is also appealing to the government to ensure vaccines are readily available to people living with sickle cell disease.
