Doctor’s union KMPDU says the health sector has recorded improvements under the current administration, particularly in the posting and payment of medical interns. The union’s secretary general Davji Atellah says interns are now posted without demonstrations and receive their salaries in the first month. Atellah says these changes mark progress in correcting abnormalities that had previously been accepted as normal in Kenya’s health sector.
