Council of Governors Chairperson Ahmed Abdullahi has rejected proposals to return healthcare functions to the national government. Speaking at the Kenya Health Summit in Nairobi, he said challenges such as delayed disbursement of county funds, insecurity are systemic and can be addressed through stronger collaboration between national and county governments.
