Zuchu is opening up about the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, and this time, she's not holding back.
The Tanzanian singer took to Snapchat for a Q&A session with fans, where one question led to a strikingly honest confession about her feelings towards husband, Diamond Platnumz, during her pregnancy.
The Question That Started It All
A fan named Brunelle asked Zuchu directly:
"Did you trouble Diamond through your pregnancy or not, like his perfumes or anything?"
Zuchu didn't shy away from answering. Speaking from what appeared to be her bed at night, with Diamond visibly asleep beside her in the background, she gave a blunt response.
"I hated him, yaani nilikuwa simpendi hapo kama nimtie kofi."

Health Concerns Addressed
Elsewhere in the Q&A, another fan, using the account name Mama, asked whether Zuchu had experienced signs of pre-eclampsia during her pregnancy.
Zuchu clarified that her pregnancy had otherwise been smooth.
"I didn't have any problems during my second trimester to my last."
She added that she had only experienced spotting during her first trimester, with no further health complications throughout the rest of the pregnancy.

The confession adds a new layer to a pregnancy journey that was already full of twists. Zuchu and Diamond's relationship hit headlines in July 2026, when she announced via Instagram that the pair had separated and were pursuing a divorce after six years together.
She said the decision was made with a "heavy heart," explaining that she had chosen to prioritise herself after years together with the singer.
Just weeks later, Zuchu shared maternity photos revealing a visible baby bump, stunning fans who had no idea she had been pregnant throughout the very public breakup.
Welcoming Their Daughter
Despite the very public relationship turmoil, Diamond and Zuchu welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, on Sunday, 2 August 2026.
Diamond was the first to share the news, writing on Instagram: "Welcome to the world, our precious little angel."

The couple also held a baby shower in the days leading up to the birth, complete with pink decorations that hinted at the baby's gender ahead of the official announcement.
Zuchu has also since revealed that she underwent a C-section delivery, after the baby was found to be trapped by the umbilical cord during labour.
