More than 8 million Kenyans have received treatment under SHA, while over 1.5 million mothers have been supported to deliver safely. President William Ruto says SHA has also supported and paid for more than 500,000 surgical procedures. He says the figures demonstrate the impact of the government’s health reforms in expanding access to medical services and reducing financial barriers to healthcare.
