The National Assembly Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security has approved the appointment of Duncan Ojwang as the new chairperson of IPOA.The committee’s report was tabled in the National Assembly by its chairperson Gabriel Tongoyo following the vetting of Ojwang. The report will now be debated and considered by the whole House. The position fell vacant following the appointment of former IPOA chairperson Isaack Hassan as a Judge of the Court of Appeal.
