Mpenzi Chokuu, whose real name is Sammy Owiya Otieno, is a well-known Kenyan social media personality and recording artist. Based in Germany, he has built a significant following as an LGBTQ+ activist.
He frequently trends for his open discussions about his sexuality and his journey through cosmetic surgery.

The exchange began after Salasya shared Chokuu’s new images showcasing a feminine look. In one photo, the influencer is seen taking a mirror selfie inside a well-equipped gym. He is dressed in a fitted, dark sleeveless athletic bodysuit. The image features him with long, dark hair and subtle makeup.
Another close-up portrait highlights his detailed facial features. In this shot, Chokuu wears a brown-and-black animal print top. He is adorned with delicate jewellery, including a thin chain necklace with flower-shaped charms and matching stud earrings.
Peter Salasya, posting from his verified Instagram account, reacted to the transformation with a series of laughing emojis. His comment, written in Swahili, expressed intense curiosity about the surgical procedures Chokuu had undergone.
"Wewe Chokuu, walifanya aje ndio wakakuongeza matiti na makalio kubwa hivyo,” MP Peter Salasya reacted.
The MP’s remarks specifically questioned the physical changes. He noted the increase in feminine features and asked about the details of the transition.
