In a candid interview on the Over 1M Podcast with Tony Mwirigi, content creator and entrepreneur Moureen Ngigi has opened up about her life since her high-profile split from Commentator254 in August 2025.
Despite their long history, the influencer revealed she feels no nostalgia for the relationship.
Ngigi, who is now 23 years old, spent three years with the fellow creator. The pair gained a massive online following as a couple, sharing their journey of young parenthood after Ngigi became pregnant at 19. However, the romance eventually faded, leading to a definitive break.
The Death of Romance
When asked if she misses anything about her former partner, Ngigi was remarkably blunt. She explained that the emotional connection simply evaporated over time.
“I’ll be honest. I don’t miss anything,” she affirmed.
She attributed the decline to a lack of foundational friendship. According to Ngigi, the pair started their journey as romantic partners rather than building a bond as friends first.
The "Lover Boy" Disconnect
Ngigi described herself as a “lover girl” who values affirmation and romantic gestures. She suggested that while Commentator254 attempted to make her happy, he did not naturally fit the "lover boy" persona she craved.
“He wasn’t trying to be a lover boy. He was just trying to make me happy,” she noted. This disconnect in love languages eventually became a significant factor in her decision to leave.
An "Alpha" Approach to Business
The businesswoman, who identifies as an "alpha woman," made the choice to move out after realizing she was no longer invested in the union.
“I had a sit down and I told him, I’m not feeling it,” she recounted.
Since the breakup, Ngigi has focused heavily on her independence and her clothing line, Bosschick Fashion. She has reportedly invested six million shillings into the venture, which specializes in African-inspired kaftans and "boho" dresses.
“I make decision knowing very well it’s a risk I’m taking.”
Co-parenting and Boundaries
Despite the lack of romantic feelings, the two maintain a functional relationship for the sake of their son. Ngigi confirmed they are now on friendly terms, though their interactions are strictly limited to parenting duties.
Ngigi concluded the interview by stating she has no regrets about the past. She remains focused on her resilience and her goal of building a fashion empire.
