Researchers at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, led by Maurice Omollo, have developed a new treatment offering hope to people suffering from long-term jigger infestations. Led by Maurice Omollo the experts said the treatment is expected to provide relief within a week, regardless of the severity of the infestation. They however, urged those affected to seek early treatment to prevent complications.
