The Government says it is strengthening cancer prevention, early detection and access to treatment while expanding specialised care across the country. Medical Services PS Dr Ouma Oluga says enhanced SHA cancer benefits are improving financial protection for patients, while digital health systems are strengthening screening, referrals and continuity of care. PS Oluga also welcomed partnerships to establish an early cancer screening programme and the Chun Jeong-eun Nyong’o Cancer Centre in Kisumu.
