Kenyan musician and entrepreneur Bahati Kioko has addressed his fans regarding his absence from a significant family milestone. The star recently missed his son Majesty’s seventh birthday shoot and celebration, a move that surprised many of his followers.
Bahati took to Instagram to share a series of professional photos from the event. The images featured his son, Majesty, alongside his mother, Diana Marua. However, the father of five was noticeably absent from the portraits.
A "Busy Season" of Labour
In a candid caption, Bahati explained that his professional schedule has been exceptionally demanding. He admitted to his followers that he found it hard to believe he could not attend the festivities.
"It’sBeen a Busy Season for me & I can’t believe I missed this Boy’s 7 Years Birthday Shoot and Celebration,” he revealed.
The artist, who has successfully transitioned from gospel music to the secular industry and entrepreneurship, noted that his absence was rooted in his commitment to his family's future. He sought to reassure his son that his hard work is a gesture of love.
"But above all You Know Daddy Loves You and he is out here trying to get you a Better Life,” he added.
Gratitude for Diana Marua
Bahati extended his public appreciation to his wife, Diana Marua. He thanked her for ensuring the day remained special for their son despite his inability to be there in person. He referred to her affectionately as "Mama Watoto" and praised her efforts in managing the household and the celebration.
