Kenyan music icon Nameless is set to celebrate 25 years in the industry this Saturday. The event takes place on 15 August 2026 at the Carnivore Grounds. It marks a significant milestone for the singer who has defined the urban pop scene for over two decades.
The celebration, titled "Nameless @25", serves as a tribute to a career that began in the late 1990s. Nameless has remained a consistent force in East African music. His silver jubilee has drawn massive interest from fans across the region.
A Powerhouse Guest List
Nameless has officially released the full list of performers for the night. The lineup features a blend of veteran legends and contemporary stars. Long-time collaborators and friends are scheduled to appear.
The list includes Wahu, Nyashinski, and Jua Cali. They are joined by other pioneers such as Mr Lenny, Big Pin, and the duo Necessary Noize. These artists were instrumental in the "Kapuka" and "Genge" movements that shaped Kenyan pop culture.
The roster also includes modern hitmakers. Fans can expect performances from Bensoul, Okello Max, Iyani, and Ywaya. Groups such as The Kansoul and P-Unit are also confirmed to take the stage, alongside Habib & Manga.
Regional stars from across East Africa will also be present. The special guests include Lady Jaydee and Mr Nice from Tanzania. The Ugandan trio Blu 3 is also listed as part of the surprise acts for the evening.
Full Event Itinerary
The organisers have shared the official programme to help fans plan their day. Gates at the Carnivore Grounds will open at 2:00 PM. The entertainment begins early to accommodate the extensive list of performers.
The afternoon starts with a "Pre-Game" set by DJ John Rabar at 4:00 PM. This leads into the first live performances of the evening. Burundian-Kenyan artist Kidum is scheduled to perform at 5:00 PM.
Following Kidum, a segment dedicated to "Kenyan Urban Pop Legends" will begin at 5:30 PM. This set is expected to feature many of the pioneers listed in the lineup. As evening falls, DJ Stylez will lead "The Countdown" starting at 7:00 PM.
The Main Event and Afterparty
The primary showcase is scheduled for 8:00 PM. This is when Nameless will take the stage alongside his featured guests. The set is expected to cover his journey from his debut hits to his most recent releases.
For those wanting to celebrate late into the night, the music will continue past midnight. DJ Nijo will host "The Afterparty" starting at 12:00 AM.
