Boxer turned content creator Mbavu Destroyer has found himself at the centre of a viral debate after a lively exchange on social media.During a TikTok live stream, a woman made a surprising guess about the influencer’s age, leading to a humorous but firm defence from the former fighter.

The Age Debate Begins

The conversation took a sharp turn when Mbavu began by asking a direct question: "How old are you?" The mzungu woman chose to flip the question back on her. "How old do you think I look?" he asked.

Mbavu’s first guess was 35. The mzungu lady immediately insisted she was much younger than that. "Younger. I’m in my 20s," she responded. The woman then added with her exact age, “28!”

She then threw the same question to Mbavu Destroyerwho gave her a chance to guess his age.

"You are 53," she responded.

Mbavu quickly moved to deny the suggestion. "Ah, no, no, no, no. Come on," he replied. He maintained that he is currently in his mid-20s. "I'm 25, actually," he told her.

Questioning the Maths

The woman continued to press for more details to verify his age. She asked when his birthday was, to which Mbavu replied it was in December. "December 11th," he added. When she asked for his birth year, he initially hesitated before stating he was born in 2000.

"I'm turning 26 this year," he claimed. However, the woman noticed a potential flaw in the logic of his numbers. She compared his stated age to her own birth year. "Cuz if I was born in 1997 and I'm 28," she explained, implying that his maths did not quite add up.

She even joked to the viewers that he was born much earlier. "Okay. He was born in 1940," she said. Mbavu dismissed the comments coming from the live chat participants. "No see everyone right now is lying just you can see right now," he defended.

"I was born 2000," he added.

From Age to Altitude

The discussion then shifted from the creator's age to his physical stature. The woman asked how tall he was, but Mbavu asked her to reveal her height first. "Ladies first. Let me see your height first," he said.

She revealed that she stands at 5 feet 8 inches. "5'8? No. Then you're tall," Mbavu remarked. He then made a staggering claim of his own regarding his height. "I'm 7’5," he said.

The woman found this claim hard to believe. "You're not 7’5, bro. Come on," she laughed. Mbavu remained firm, noting that he was only showing his upper body on the camera at the time. "You don't believe. You can see this is the upper body. I not even stood up yet," he said.

A Future Meeting

The two ended the live chat by suggesting an in-person meeting might be the only way to settle the truth. "Maybe one day one time we're going to meet each other," Mbavu suggested.

He believed that a face-to-face encounter would prove his claims once and for all. "Actions speak louder than words," he concluded.
