Rigathi Gachagua’s DCP is calling on the government to explain why the ongoing nurses’ strike remains unresolved, saying the industrial action has paralysed services in public hospitals. DCP Secretary-General designate and Nyandarua Senator John Methu says Kenyans seeking treatment are bearing the brunt of the standoff between the government and nurses. Methu is demanding urgent action to end the strike and restore services in public health facilities.
