At least 31 lives have been lost on our roads in the first 13 days of this month, the Kenya Red Cross has said. Red Cross there has been 23 crashes and 75 serious injuries attributing the continued loss of lives on the roads to factors including speeding, dangerous overtaking and driver fatigue. The organisation is also calling for greater attention to road safety in towns and cities, particularly in areas with high numbers of pedestrians and other vulnerable road users.
