Kenyan dancer and model Ikoh Roz has revealed the unique dietary habits that keep her slim. Speaking on the Obinna Show Live, she explained that she strictly consumes only one meal every twenty-four hours.
The 24-year-old content creator from Murang’a county, shared that her eating schedule depends on which meal she chooses to have first. She maintains this routine to keep her preferred physique.
The One-Meal Routine
Ikoh Roz told host Oga Obinna that her daily intake is limited to a single sitting. She does not follow a traditional three-meal structure.
“I usually eat one meal per day. Kama nakula breakfast, sitakula lunch, sitakula supper. Kama nakula lunch, I make sure I skip breakfast and supper. Nikikula supper, I make sure Sikuli breakfast na lunch,” she stated.
When she does eat, her choices are often specific. She mentioned that her one meal might consist of Weetabix or a small portion of ugali with milk.
Anxiety over Kenyan Staples
Despite being a popular figure in Nairobi, Ikoh Roz avoids many common Kenyan dishes. She admitted to experiencing physical distress when presented with foods like sukuma wiki, fish, and beef.

The model further detailed the mental impact of these meals. “Nikikula Sukuma, Samaki, beef na ugali huwa naanza kupanic,” she added.
The Struggle with Chewing
The dancer described a difficult relationship with the texture of certain proteins. Even when she attempts to eat fish or beef, she finds it nearly impossible to swallow the meat.
“Kama Samaki, naeza tafuna even for 20 minutes nikienda kumeza inakataa,” she explained. Regarding beef, she prefers to consume only the liquid portion. “Beef hata ukiniletea nakuambia nipee supu, wewe chukua nyama,” she told the podcast.
Her selective eating extends to simpler items like bread and eggs. She prefers the softer parts of food. “Tukikuja kwa mkate, mimi huwa natoa hii ya sides nakula ile ya ndani. Mayai the same, huwa natoa the egg-white, nakula york pekee,” she said.
