Cristiano Ronaldo’s romantic life has unfolded under intense public attention, with the Portuguese football star linked to several high-profile women before finding a long-term partner in Georgina Rodríguez.

Among his earlier relationships were Portuguese television personality Merche Romero, whom he dated between 2005 and 2006, and Spanish model Nereida Gallardo, with whom he was linked in 2008.

He was also briefly associated with British television personality Gemma Atkinson in 2007, while his name was linked to other celebrities including Paris Hilton.

His most prominent relationship before Rodríguez was with Russian model Irina Shayk, whom he dated from 2010 until their split in January 2015.
