Kenyan nurses have vowed to continue with their strike despite ongoing negotiations on their CBA involving the Council of Governors, Public Service Commission, Salaries and Remuneration Commission and other stakeholders. Kenya Union of Nurses Secretary General Seth Panyako says the union will not back down, even in defiance of the court order suspending the strike. Panyako says nurses are even ready to face imprisonment, arguing that courts have repeatedly suspended their strikes whenever they demand the implementation of their CBA.
