Health DG Patrick Amoth says Kenya has strengthened its preparedness against Ebola amid the ongoing outbreak in the region. Amoth says Kenya has established an incident management structure and activated the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre to coordinate response efforts. He says more than 183 Ebola alerts have been investigated so far, with all tests returning negative. Kenya has also strengthened surveillance and laboratory capacity.
