DPP Renson Ingonga says his office is prepared to prosecute electoral offences ahead of the 2027 General Election. Ingonga says a dedicated division with specially trained prosecutors has been established to handle electoral crimes. He warns that those involved in violence, hate speech, cybercrime and intimidation will face the law. Ingonga says the ODPP will work with investigative agencies to ensure peaceful polls.
