At least three cases of enforced disappearances or abductions have been reported in Mombasa County over the past four months. MUHURI Rapid Response Officer Francis Awuma says suspects should be taken through the legal process and prosecuted in court instead of being abducted, warning that failure to curb such incidents could see them increase as the country approaches the next General Election.
