The Hustler Fund has disbursed Sh90 billion to more than 28 million Kenyans, the Fund CEO Henry Tanui says. Tanu says out of the 28 million registered customers, 10 million are repeat borrowers, further disclosing that more than Sh76 billion has been repaid and what is outstanding is Sh13.7 billion. President William Ruto has described the programme as a key government intervention to expand financial inclusion and support the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
