NTV Kenya has confirmed the death of Josiah Mugo, a videographer attached to the station's Nyeri bureau, sending shockwaves through the country's journalism fraternity.
According to information shared by his family and NTV, Mugo had been battling an illness before his death. He was reportedly found dead at his home, with the family announcing the news on Friday, August 8, 2026.
