The United Congregation of Imams in Nakuru has warned that political statements aimed at suppressing opposition voices undermine democracy. Speaking in Nakuru, the clerics said no nation can prosper when dissent is silenced. They urged leaders to promote peace ahead of next year’s General Election by avoiding ethnic profiling and embracing dialogue, unity, and tolerance.
