A 44-year-old woman who was allegedly shot by police during a security operation in Nairobi's Gikomba area has died. Human rights activist Hussein Khalid says Maureen Nduku succumbed to her injuries at Kenyatta National Hospital after being shot on Monday. A 16-year-old boy who was also struck by the same bullet is recovering. Khalid has called for accountability over the incident.
